Full-Time | Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM MT (hours may vary)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and flexible Healthcare Associate to join our in-clinic team. This position supports patient care and daily operations in a small but busy medical office. The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and professional, with a strong background in medical office or clinical support. This role requires initiative, the ability to handle multiple responsibilities, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications
Required
- Dependability and flexibility
- Consistent reliability, punctuality, and accountability
- Experience in medical office administration or clinical support
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support team members in a small office setting
Preferred
- Experience with medication prior authorizations
- Background as a medical assistant or in a similar clinical role
- Experience with patient phone communication, rooming, or triage
- Skills in de-escalation and patient-centered communication
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Documentation
- Room and triage patients promptly and professionally
- Accurately document medical histories and medications
- Maintain organized patient files and billing records
- Process insurance forms and prescription refills
Patient Communication
- Greet patients warmly and answer phones professionally
- Respond to inquiries with courtesy, empathy, and respect
- Use de-escalation techniques when needed
- Coordinate with clinical staff for seamless patient care
Compliance & Quality
- Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times
- Follow clinic policies and procedures consistently
- Report concerns promptly and take accountability for corrections
- Support ongoing quality improvement
Administrative Support
- Process referrals and prior authorizations efficiently
- Verify insurance benefits and authorizations
- Schedule patient appointments accurately
- Manage patient registration and intake paperwork
