Mix of inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic, and dialysis

Rural hospital with intensivist and NP support

Schedule

Clinic: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday

Call: 24-hour inpatient, round in AM, call from hotel

Only one setting per week (clinic or call)

Orientation during first shift
Cases and Procedures

Bread-and-butter nephrology
-
Dialysis: 1-15 patients daily

Call volume: up to 30 patients/day

IR available 24/7 for lines and caths
Requirements
-
Board certified or eligible (within 5 years) in Nephrology

Active Kentucky license or IMLC LOQ

DEA and NPI required
