Some Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Coach, mentor, and develop directors, managers, and staff to enhance leadership capabilities.
- Cultivate a culture aligned with KenCrest’s mission, fostering accountability and service excellence.
- Lead the implementation of processes and systems to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance across multiple locations and services.
- Promote transparency in quality measures and performance across all service lines.
Operational Management:
- Set and monitor outcome goals and KPIs to improve performance, utilizing data-driven insights.
- Lead a collaborative team across multiple service areas, ensuring resources and support align with service demands.
- Analyze data trends to identify areas for operational improvements and take corrective action when necessary.
- Manage the daily operations of services, ensuring all standards and expectations are met.
Financial Responsibility:
- Oversee the financial health of all programs, setting performance goals and ensuring adherence to budgetary expectations.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to drive financial performance, identifying and addressing any fiscal challenges.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and controls to meet both financial and programmatic goals.
- Implement corrective actions to align service delivery with financial objectives.
Collaboration & Relationship Building:
- Engage with government agencies, stakeholders, and external partners to advocate for policies that benefit individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Maintain regular communication with staff, families, and community stakeholders to ensure alignment with KenCrest’s mission.
- Represent KenCrest in state, county, and other official meetings, ensuring that the organization’s voice is heard and needs are addressed.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collective success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 8 years of leadership experience in human services, with a track record of successful organizational change and program management.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally required.
- Strong strategic thinking and critical problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience managing multi-location operations and leading diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of human services, specifically in the field of intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities (IDD).
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with public speaking experience.
- Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
