Job Summary

The Registered Nurse Clinical Lead will lead and facilitate the daily operations of the unit by supporting the implementation of evidence-based practice, while serving as a resource within the organization for information, education, and training for the safe and efficient daily operations ensuring optimal care for the patients.

Required Qualifications

Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
Require two (2) years of current satisfactory registered nurse experience.

Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes and teamwork.
Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem solving expertise.
Prefer demonstrated ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy.
Prefer demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations in a diplomatic manner.
Prefer demonstrated working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
