Description:
We are looking for a highly accurate, HIPAA-compliant medical transcriptionist for a one-time project in podiatry. This project involves transcribing pre-recorded patient dictations from a secure HIPAA-compliant device into text that can be inserted into our EMR system. You will do the transcribing part. We will put it into the EMR.

Project Details:

Estimated audio: 15 hours of recordings.
All recordings are HIPAA-sensitive, and you must sign a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (BAA) before receiving any files.
Transcripts must be accurate, clear, and formatted professionally for EMR insertion.
Focus on medical terminology, procedures, and patient notes.
Expected turnaround: start within 24 hours and go until completion.

Requirements:

Prior experience in medical transcription, preferably with EMR or insurance documentation knowledge.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT codes, and documentation standards.
Ability to handle sensitive PHI securely.
U.S.-based preferred (HIPAA compliance and accuracy).
Must agree to HIPAA BAA and NDA before starting.

Payment / Budget:

Option A: Per audio minute: $1–$2 per recorded minute
Option B: Hourly: $20/hour (estimate based on project volume)
Exact payment can be finalized based on your experience and estimated time to completion.
